Protection Plans
Movida offers 3 main protection levels:
- TRC (Total Relax Coverage) - MAXIMUM coverage: zero excess for collision, theft, vandalism, scratches, locks, windows, mirrors
- SCDW (Excess Cover) - Zero excess only for collision with other vehicles and theft
- RCDW (Excess Reduction) - Reduces excess to €300 (collision and theft only)
Important Note
Tyres and wheels are NOT covered in any plan. Separate insurance available.

Fuel Policy
Collect with 1/4 tank, return same. If not returned with 1/4: €25 service + missing fuel. No refund if you return with more fuel.
Security Deposit
Deposit varies by group and coverage chosen (see table). Premium groups (Mercedes, BMW, Audi) require 2 credit cards. Minimum €500 even with SCDW.
Important Information
- Minimum Age - 19 years (21 for premium/van groups)
- Maximum Age - 90 years
- Minimum Experience - 1 year (2 years for premium groups)
- Credit Card - MANDATORY for deposit
- Debit Cards - Accepted ONLY for payment, NOT for deposit
- American Express - NOT accepted
- Premium Groups - Require 2 credit cards in driver's name
- Cross Border - Spain only with prior authorization
Cancellation Policy
- FREE Cancellation - Up to 7 days before arrival date
- Early returns - No refund
- Changes after start - Movida rates apply
Legal Information
- ALWAYS obtain police report in case of accident
- Complete damage report even for minor damages
- Insurance VOID if driver under influence of alcohol/drugs
- Insurance VOID if used in competitions, rallies or races
- Lost keys: if car stolen without keys, insurance VOID
- Exceptions (charged to client): aerial, keys, wipers, wheels, tyres, interior, triangle, roof damage, underside damage, damaged GPS/seats
